Our story

Reading, built one sound at a time.

Learning Ladder was built by experienced English language teachers who kept seeing the same problem: kids stuck on reading, not because they couldn't learn, but because nothing taught them the right way, in the right order. So we built the ladder ourselves."

Our Approach

Every lesson follows Orton-Gillingham, a structured method used by reading specialists. No guessing, no memorizing whole words. Just sounds, blended in order, until reading clicks. Levels are based on skill, not grade or age. A struggling 8-year-old and a fast-progressing 6-year-old can be on the exact same level, and that's fine. Reading level is not a label.

A second paragraph about the mission — accessible, structured literacy for Arabic- and English-speaking families across Lebanon.

“"We spent years watching kids get labeled as behind, when really, nobody had taught them reading in the right order yet. Learning Ladder is the method we wish every classroom had." — The Learning Ladder team”
